Day 1

Arrive Calgary, Canada

 

Welcome to Canada!

​

Upon arrival at Calgary Airport, pick up your rental vehicle (Chevrolet Malibu or similar)  and make your way to the hotel.

​

This evening free to enjoy the Calgary nightlife.

 

Overnight in Calgary :

Day 2 - 4

Banff & Kootenay National Parks

​

After breakfast, take a last look around calgary before departing towards your Rocky Mountain adventure.

​

Start your drive west to Banff around lunchtime and you’ll see the foothills and prairies of Calgary change as the Rocky Mountains rise up in front of you on the road, this is incredible scenery.

​

Upon arrival in the vibrant town of Banff, head into town to explore, shop and enjoy the nightlife.

​

On your second day, head out early and enjoy a full day at Kootenay National Park. There are many activities to take part in, and you may also want to try some of the shorter walking trails.

Don’t forget to make time on your 3rd day for the Glacier Skywalk if you have a head for heights as well as the Banff Gondola.

Day 5 - 6

Banff - Jasper National Park

​

As you arrive in the commercial centre of Jasper National Park, you’ll realise you’ve arrived in a very special place.

 

You have 2 days here to enjoy this spectacular scenery; visit Maligne Lake, hike in the mountain wilderness, ride the Jasper Skytram and if you’re feeling adventurous, you can raft the Athabasca Canyon Run (May-Sept)

Day 7

Lake louise

​

Today, keep the camera fully charged and ready as you drive down to Lake Louise.

You will have seen many photos of this beautiful lake, but nothing will prepare you for the stunning beauty as it comes into view. The turquoise waters, the Victoria Glacier, an awesome mountainous backdrop and a perfect photo every way you turn.

Overnight in Lake Louise :

Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise

(Double room)

Jasper - lake louise 232 km (approx 3 hr)

Day 8

Last day - head back towards Calgary to catch your flight back home

Return your rental vehicle to Calgary Airport and fly home or to your next destination.
