Day 1

Arrive (Peru)- transfer from Lima Airport

 

Welcome to Peru!

You will be met by our airport representative who assist you in getting to your hotel for your first night after your international flight.

Overnight in Lima : Hotel Jose Antonio B&B

Day 2

Flight transfer from Lima Airport to Cusco

After Breakfast take a transfer to the airport for your flight to Cusco (additional flight cost)

Upon arrival at Cusco the rest of the day is at leisure

Overnight in Cusco : Eco Inn Hotel B&B

Day 3

Cusco

After breakfast in Hotel

Morning Excursion with your private guide to visit the historical centre including Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay.

Afternoon at Leisure

Day 4

Machu Picchu

In the morning visit the Pisaq market and the Ollantaytambo fortress with your guide.

Transfer to Ollantaytambo's rail station to take the Vistadome train (1st class subject to availability) towards Machu Picchu.

Upon arrival take a short walk to your hotel.

Day 5

Machu Picchu & Cusco

 

After breakfast meet you guide and take the public bus to the archaeological complex and visit/tour Machu Picchu.

Afternoon - transfer to station and onboard the Vistadome train to Poroy (1st class subject to availability). Upon arrival take the transfer to your hotel in Cusco

Day 6

Cusco & Lima

After breakfast take your transfer to connect with your flight to Lima(additional cost)

Upon arrival take transfer to hotel

Rest of day at leisure

Overnight in Lima : Hotel Jose Antonio B&B

Day 7

Lima  - Guayaquil

Transfer to airport - flight to Guayaquil (additional flight cost)

Upon arrival - drop bags at hotel and day tour of Guayaquil.

Evening at Leisure

Lima  - Guayaquil

Transfer to the airport at the proper time for departure onto your flight (additional flight cost).

As soon as you arrive at the airport our guide will be waiting for you at the arrival reception to pick you up and transfer you to the hotel.

After check in, your guide will take you on a short tour of the city of Guayaquil, Ecuador’s largest city. This local city tour consists of various panoramic visits and walks through the city.

 

First stop will be the Administration Plaza, around which you will observe the City Hall, the Monument Sucre and finally the Seminario Park, also known as Iguana Park.

Next, we will take private transport to the Southern Malecon 2000 where you will appreciate the Integration Plaza with its famous Southern Marketplace and then continue on to the Olmedo Plaza, very important for its monument to Jose Joaquin Olmedo, a recognized poet of Guayaquil and ex-president of Ecuador.

We will walk on toward the Rotonda Monument where the statues of Simon Bolivar and San Martin are found. We will then proceed to visit the rest of the Malecon 2000, with its many restaurants and recreation places for children.

After the visit to the Malecón, we will go to the Peñas neighborhood. This is the oldest part of the city in which you will have the opportunity to climb to the Cerro Santa Ana where you will have wonderful views of Guayaquil and the Guayas River.

The rest of the day is free to explore at leisure

Day 8

Fly to The Galapagos Islands / Cruise

Take your early flight to Baltra Airport Galapagos (additioanl cost)

 

Upon arrival you will need to pay the park entrance fee (unless already pre-paid

A guide will meet you and escort you to the habour where you shall embark on your cruise.  Either the Sea Star Journey or the Seaman Catamaran, depending on your day of arrival.

Day 9

Galapagos Cruise (Sea Star Journey)

Travel to Black turtle Cove

Explore and visit Santiago Island - which is covered in sea lions, marine Iguanas and Galapagos Penguins.

Overnight onboard your cruise : Full Board

Day 10

Galapagos Cruise (Sea Star journey)

Morning - Darwin Bay - Genovesa Island :  A favourite for bird watchers; red footed-booby, wandering tattlers, lava gulls, whimbrels Yellow-crowned to name a few, all to be seen in this area.

In the afternoon - travel to El Barranco, Genovesa Island for more site seeing in the southern part of Darwin Bay.

Day 11

Bartolome Island & Sullivan Bay, Santiago Island

With 2 breathtaking beaches for turtle viewing as well as penguins Bartolome is a great way to start the day.

The afternoon spent in Sullivan Bay - view active larva flows and enjoy your evening cruising.

Overnight onboard your cruise : Full Board

Day 12

Santa Cruz Island 

On your final day in the Galapagos enjoy the trail to the highlands.  Weather permitting you can get some beautiful last minute photo opportunities.

Transfer back to Baltra airport for your flight back to Quito (additional cost for flight) and a transfer to you hotel.

Day 13

Quito and last day transfer to airport

1/2 Day morning tour with guide exploring the sites and sounds of Quito.

Departure - We recommend that you arrive at the airport 3 hours prior to your departure flight (or 2 hours if travelling business class). Your departure time will be given to you by your chauffeur guide. It is recommended that you check in online for your departure flight so that you can avoid long queues at the airport check in counters. On line check in is available for most airlines 24 hours before your flight. Your hotel will be able to help you with this if necessary. We wish you a pleasant journey back home or to your next destination.
