Welcome to Canada!
Upon arrival at Calgary Airport, make your own way to the hotel and spend the remainder of the day sightseeing at your own pace in the ‘Heart of the New West’
Step into the elegant lobby of your sophisticated downtown hotel and you’ll be admiring the beautiful collection of over 500 Western Canadian pieces of art. This hotel is located near the theatre district, luxury shopping and many restaurants, pubs and galleries.

Day 2
Calgary to Banff
Depart Calgary this morning for a day long tour finishing in Banff. On the way, you’ll experience the highlight of the day, a 12 min helicopter ride over the Rockies from Kananaskis. You’ll witness incredible views of mountain vistas, waterfalls, lakes and glaciers. Afterwards, continue towards Banff where you’ll experience sightseeing at Bow Falls, Lake Minnewanka, Surprise Corner and the Hoodoos. The Banff Gondola is included. The tour ends in the late afternoon upon arrival in Banff.
Tonight you’ll enjoy superb hospitality at the Rimrock Resort Hotel.

Day 3
Free day in Banff
Today, you can explore Banff National Park at your own pace. Optional activities include golf at the Banff Springs Hotel, local museums, Lake Minnewanka, Upper Hot Springs or walk the nearby mountain trails.
You’ll end your day enjoying the amazing views of the Rockies from your hotel, the Rimrock Resort Hotel.

Day 4
Banff to lake Louise and Yoho Park tour
Today you’ll venture into Yoho National Park where you’ll see Spiral Tunnels, Emerald Lake and a natural rock bridge that spans the Kicking Horse River. This half day tour will end in Lake Louise where you’ll have the remainder of the day to explore on your own.
Your iconic hotel, the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise awaits your arrival and you’ll be blown away by the gorgeous setting.

Day 5
Lake Louise
Today you’re free to relax and take in the spectacular views, or if you prefer, you can participate in local activities such as hiking, canoeing, mountain biking, fishing or horseback riding. If you prefer the active options, they can be arranged at your hotel tour desk.

Day 6
Lake Louise to Jasper, the Icefields Parkway and the Ice Explorer
Your sightseeing continues in Banff and Jasper National Parks. You’ll head out to the Icefields Parkway where you’ll join the Ice Explorer at the Athabasca Glacier. Your guide will point out the interesting geological features of this ancient glacier. The Columbia Icefield is the largest concentration of ice south of the Arctic Circle.
After your stop for lunch (not included), you’ll arrive in Jasper late afternoon. Your hotel, the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge is located in the UNESCO world heritage site, Jasper National Park.

Day 7
Experience Jasper - Highlights Tour
Today, you’ll set out on a half day tour to visit the attractions and peaks of Jasper National Park. The rest of the day is at leisure and you can choose to explore on your own or relax.
Being located next to Canada’s number 1 golf course may tempt you to play a few holes.
You should be excited now, as tomorrow you’ll be joining the Rocky Mountaineer.

Day 8
Jasper to Kamloops
Welcome aboard as you join the Rocky Mountaineer Gold Leaf service to Kamloops in the heart of British Columbia’s interior.
You’ll pass the river valleys of the Monashee and the Cariboo Mountains as well as the spectacular Continental Divide.
The highlights will include Pyramid Falls, Mount Robson and the Yellowhead Pass.

Day 9
Kamloops to Vancouver
Your continuing journey on the Rocky Mountaineer today will see dramatic scenery changes as you move from the interior to the coast. You’ll appreciate the Gold Leaf service as your camera works overtime. You’ll see forests, lush green fields, canyons, after leaving the desert like interior. This evening you’ll arrive in Vancouver and disembark the Rocky Mountaineer.
Your luxury hotel is well located, just steps away from the shopping and entertainment of Vancouver. If this is your last night, take time to celebrate your trip with the nightlife Vancouver has to offer.
