Day 4 - 6

Serengeti National Park (Seronera)

Breakfast at the Lodge, then depart for Serengeti National Park central Seronera.

Over the next few days you shall enjoy exceptional game drives and superb hospitality.  We aim to explore the "BIG FIVE" during your game drives. In addition, you can kick back and relax at the lodge and marvel at the array of wildlife just below you at Savanna Water hole, where all manner of wildlife congregate to drink.

Perhaps you may wish to add in a hot air balloon experience or even just take a guided walk into the wild Serengeti.  It's all here to be enjoyed.

Serengeti National Park:

Tanzania's oldest and most popular national park, also a world heritage site and recently proclaimed a 7th wonder of the world. The Serengeti is famed for its annual migration, when some six million hooves pound the open plains, as more than 200,000 zebra and 300,000 Thomson's gazelle join the wildebeest’s trek for fresh grazing. Yet even when the migration is quiet, the Serengeti offers arguably the most scintillating game-viewing in Africa: great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephant and giraffe, and thousands upon thousands of eland, topi, kongoni, impala and Grant’s gazelle.

3 Nights in Serengeti:

Ngorongoro Crater

After a full day exploration, we head back to your lodge for the evening - where you can look out over the Crater area as the sun sets for a truly remarkable viewpoint.

Ngorongoro Conservation Area:

The jewel in Ngorongoro’s crown is a deep, volcanic crater. The largest unflooded, unbroken caldera in the world. About 20kms across, 600 metres deep and 300 sqkm in area, the Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtaking natural wonder. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the south western corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually be seen here.

Zanzibar Island Beach

Breakfast at the hotel - we head out and visit Jozani forest and transfer to North Nungwi as your base for the final few days.

A great location to unwind and relax after the excitement of the trip so far.

Zanzibar:

On the way you pass Jozani Forest, the last habitat of the rare endemic Red Colobus Monkey. With a local guide you stroll through Jozani Chwaka National Park and look at the rare monkeys. If you wish you can even wander down the boardwalk to the fascinating Mangrove Ecosystem.

Right on the northern most point of the island, the beach that surrounds this area is truly stunning. Azure waters and white sands are what await those that come here. The only drawback really is that many of the hotels have had to perch on the coral cliffs that run north from the village, it’s a small price to pay for this Luxury experience.
